If you need training, support or advice on broadcast and high definition television production, then this site will be of interest.

With over fifteen years working for Sony, and three years before that with the BBC, Neil Thompson has the depth of knowledge you need to help understand what the latest technology can do for you, and how to get the best from it.

Training courses are run on an occasional basis, usually based in Sheffield, Manchester or Leeds

Reduced rates are usually available for freelancers via your local screen agency.

If you’d like to be made aware when the next course is running, then please e-mail me

The most frequently run course is:

HDW-750P/ HDW-F900R Camcorder and Intro to HD    750/F900R Training

If there’s something else from the training menu that takes your fancy, then let me know. If you can get a group of three or four like minded souls together, then I can come to you and do a days bespoke training. Cost depends on how many people, and where you are.
